Honors Residential Communities

The IUPUI Honors College utilizes two residential facilities for campus housing: The Tower for first-year scholars and the Campus Apartments on the Riverwalk for upper-class scholars. Students living in these communities will have opportunities for engage in academic programming, including Honors advising; professional and graduate school preparation; internationalizing activities, including study abroad panels; leadership opportunities, including Honors Residential Councils; and opportunities for civic engagement within IUPUI and Indianapolis.

Each Experience has Resident Assistants (RA's) available for residents as a mentor, guide, and educator. The RA's have an office to assist with the goals of both Housing and Residence Life and the IUPUI Honors College. As Honors scholars themselves, they know how to successfully navigate the waters of academics.

Incoming, First Year Scholars: Located in The Tower, our newest residential facility on the corner of Michigan Street and University Boulevard. First-year scholars will live in double and triple occupancy rooms in a building with a dining center, fitness center, and computer lab. There is also an Honors Lounge for students residing in the community. A student must be an incoming member of the IUPUI Honors College to be eligible for this community.

The Tower will open in August 2013 for first-year residents. For more information, as it's available: http://www.masterplan.iupui.edu/projects/hotel/faq.html.
